Welcome to this week’s Sunday School on WTPL 107.7.  Our guest this week is Judy Burroughs, Director of Program Operations and Student Aid at the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation. 

During the broadcast, Judy shares information about the Statewide Student Aid Program (which is open to any NH students ages 17-23 or graduate students) and the criteria that they are looking for when reviewing applicants.  This program is for both graduating high school students and adult learners.   In 2011,  1 out of every 4  students who applied received an award, and the average size of the award was $3100.  This year’s application is due by April 13th at 5pm EST.   Judy also offers valuable scholarship application tips for students searching and applying for free money for college.
