Scholarship opportunities for college-bound high school seniors are everywhere!  Remember to ask your family and friends, your employer, your guidance office if they know of scholarships you should explore.  And just because you are a Joe College reader, here’s one for you:  U.S. Bank is offering forty $1000 scholarships to high school seniors and college undergraduates to put towards their college education during the 2012-2013 academic year.

Eligibility: students must be a high school senior or freshman, sophomore or junior at an eligible 4 year college participating in the U.S. Bank Student Loan Program, enrolled in college by September 2012 and a U.S. citizen or permanent resident alien.  Even better - winners are chosen at random (no essay needed!)!!

The scholarship application can only be found on their website at www.usbank.com/scholarship and is due by March 31, 2012.  Visit there for their application and to view all scholarship rules and regulations.
