Help Your Younger Brothers or Sisters Save $10!!

Do you have younger brothers or sisters (or neighbors, cousins or friends) who might like $10 to either start or add to their college savings account?  TD Bank is offering $10 to every student who reads 10 books before September 30, 2011.  Have them (or their mom or dad) visit the TD Bank website, print off the Summer Reading Form, fill it out, take it to their local TD Bank and $10 will either be deposited in an existing Young Saver’s account or he or she can open one.  Many students have to read during the summer anyway (and even if they don’t, it’s a great way to spend some time…it keeps the mind sharp!), so they might as well earn some money for doing it!

Encourage them to read today,
Val

As a private college counselor, it is exciting to see another organization getting behind the summer reading movement. If there was any advice I could offer students while they are still in elementary school, it would be to read. It is one of the best ways to prepare for college.
