July Edition of Coffee Talk

Download | Duration: 00:25:18

I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend!

This month our Center for College Planning counselors highlight some useful information for students entering this first year of college and those preparing to take their standardized tests.

The discussion begins with a conversation regarding last minute ways to find funding for college.  Now that we are in July, you are right around the corner from receiving your college bill.  If you haven’t given much thought as to how the bill will be satisfied, listen and learn about some viable options for you.

If you are about to head off to college this Fall you may be thinking that the next few months should include nothing but heading to the beach and relaxing with friends.  While we do encourage some of that (you deserve a break!) we do share tips about productive things you could be doing now to help make the transition into your first year of college easier.

And if you are stressing about the SAT’s, our office is offering a class to help those with a little anxiety feel better prepared.  Pre-registration is required.

See you in August,
Val

Great podcast! Excellent information and lively banter. Great tips to use for the summer time, it's certainly a great time to practice those time management skills.
