It’s Not Too Late to Apply to Your Local Community College!
Have you recently decided that you want to attend college this upcoming fall and you know that deadlines for applications have passed at many of the four-year colleges and universities? Are you reading through your award packages from colleges that you’ve been accepted to and wonder if you will be able to attend due to receiving less free money than you had hoped to? Don’t let either of these reasons keep you from attending college this fall! You can apply to your local community college (check out what programs the Community College System of New Hampshire offers!) and earn your Associate’s Degree and perhaps transfer those credits towards earning your Bachelor’s Degree. This article highlights some of the benefits of attending a community college as well as things that you should consider before deciding to do so.
Has anyone made the decision to attend a community college next year? If so, what factors did you consider when making that choice?
Remember, there are college options out there for everyone, it’s all about determining which option is best for you!

I am thinking about starting at the community college and then going on to finish my bachelors degree...NHTI has a great link on their site to show articulation agreements they have with all different schools which makes transfering even easier!

My family and I talked over the weekend, and I'm gonna go to Great Bay to study criminal justice, get my associates, and then go to Keene or Plymouth for my bachelors.

Check out this website www.nhtransfer.org and their program called NH Transfer Connections! It makes it really easy to transfer from a community college to a 4 year school!
