April Coffee Talk
Download | Duration: 00:12:38
This month’s installment of Coffee Talk includes a discussion about award letters and tips to taking standardized tests.
Counselors begin by reviewing the difference between a grant and a scholarship and then move to discussing work-study and loans for both the student and parent. They wrap-up the conversation by explaining the benefits of using a repayment calculator to determine what a payment could look like for the student (and possibly family) based on the amount he or she may need to borrow for their education.
Many colleges require students to submit standardized test scores as part of their application for admission. Listen in to hear the counselors review tips that could help alleviate student’s anxiety around the tests.
See you next month,
Val

This sounds like a good one! I'm looking forward to hearing about the repayment calculators.
