November Coffee Talk is Available!

Download | Duration: 00:27:00

Hi bloggers,

November’s installment of Coffee Talk, the Center for College Planning’s podcast is now available for listening!

This month our counselors focus on issues relevant to all senior high school students thinking about and planning for college.

We start by discussing the difference between applying Early Action and Early Decision.  They sound similar, but are in fact very different.  If you are thinking about applying through one of these methods, tune in to make sure you understand the commitment level each of them entails.

Next we outline the senior year timeline, specifically focusing on what seniors should be spending their time completing right now.  It’s only November, and it may seem like you have all the time in the world to complete those college applications, but those pesky deadlines tend to sneak up on people.  Be prepared by following our suggested list of things to work on now.

And finally we will wrap up our conversation with a chat about study abroad programs.  We offer tips to think about when choosing a college that offers study abroad options, information about financing and some insight from one of our counselors that did partake in a study abroad program.

If you have questions about any of the content in this podcast, or anything else college related, please call our office at 888.7.GRADUATE ext. 119.

Happy listening,
