Two months to go!
(written by Rising STAR, Krystal)
Hey Bloggers!!!
Wow, time is flying by! There’s so much to do and only less then two months to do it! Graduation is right around the corner and a lot of my friends and I have developed senioritis! I think the excitement to graduate is what keeps me motivated the most! I can’t wait to be done! The next thing I know I’ll be off to college! I went to visit the college I’m going to on Saturday. I loved it! I loved the fact that it was so clean!
I also loved the cafeteria. It’s not just one kind of food; they serve a whole variety. I was really relieved knowing that it’s an all-you-can-eat buffet with all kinds of food.
The people there are great. The students that spoke with us told us that they all have great relationships with their professors. Some of them shared stories about how they’re on a first name relationship with their professor. It was relieving to hear that.
I do still have some worries though. My biggest fears are getting lost on campus and/or not getting along with my roommate. These may seem like little things, but they’re concerns I have. I just keep telling myself everything will be fine! Orientation is in June, and I can't wait!! Orientation is an overnight event that my parents and I both attend and they have different workshops for us to go to that will help prepare us for college life in the fall. I haven’t really found out much more about it, but I’ll keep you posted as it approaches!
I really think I will enjoy my college choice. I'm excited to meet new people while pursuing my goal of becoming a social worker.
Talk to you soon!

Hey, Krystal -
Where are you headed for school?
I once heard a kid say that the best part about the cafeteria at college is that you can put ice cream on anything! His favorite was on waffles...Your college tour sounded like it made you really excited for the fall. Hopefully it inspires others to get on campus!
