Applications Are Going Out!

Hey Everyone. It’s November, and you know what that means, college deadlines are creeping up faster than you know. I know for me it’s crazy. With Fall sports just ending and my senior project due within a couple of months, it seems like such a time crunch to just get everything in NOW!

This week I am proud to tell you I really started the application process by giving my guidance office the 4 application envelopes for each school I’m applying to, all addressed and stamped. The guidance office will put in first quarter grades, a transcript, letters of recommendation from former and current teachers, and some other things – and they will actually drop the envelopes in the mail really soon!

Surprisingly enough, giving the applications to the guidance office feels like a lot of pressure is taken off of me, even though all I had to do was write the address. How simple, right? Now all that is left for me is to complete the college essay and send it out along with the actual electronic application – all done in time to meet each school’s application deadline. Then, of course, we all play the waiting game!

One very happy girl,

Lauryn
