National Reply Day - May 1!
So as the big decision day draws near, the counselors at the Center for College Planning congratulate those of you who have been accepted to, and will be attending a post-secondary institution this fall! Whether it is a community college, a four-year college, or a professional trade school, congratulations on pursuing a higher education!
For some students, making the decision on where to go in the fall meant deciding between a number of schools. For others, they focused only on one school from the get-go. In honor of the May 1st national reply date, Joe College wants to hear from you! Where did you decide to attend? What helped shape your decision to attend the school you picked? (We know the deadline isn’t until this Friday, so if you aren’t positive yet, blog here when your decision is made. )
How are you feeling about your decision? Are you nervous about leaving for college, or are you pretty sure you will do great on your own? Was it a more difficult decision than you thought it would be? Are you able to attend the school that was at the top of your list?
Parents: How do you feel about your student’s choice of schools? How does it feel to have a child leaving the nest? And most importantly, how do you plan on using that spare bedroom now???
If the Center for College Planning helped you in the college process, thank you for letting us be a part of your process. We would love to hear how you are doing – and we wish you well as you begin your post-secondary career!
